Fishing Report
Today the generation remained 0 gen. till around 12:00 when they turned on 1 gen. It only raised the tailwater level about 2ft. higher. Which had a great effect on fishing. We actually saw a 9lb. rainbow today giving us great hopes for this years spawning run.
Fly Box
When starting in the mornings we are still enjoying the dry fly action. Using #14 renegades, #18 griffiths gnats, and #14 green cracklebacks. After the fish stop looking to the surface for food try chamois worms with a #18 natural brown or smokey-olive scud. We also have been using a #16 natural brown scud with #20 WD-40’s in grey and black. As far as emergers #18 cream and green south platte brassie’s as well as #18 prismatic ( u must retrieve them with short-fast strips). And Finally we are still throwing #10 weighted grey sculpins.
