Fishing Report
All 4 generators are still running all the time, due mostly in part to high water levels. Last week our pools were finally getting down to where they need to be when we got more heavy rains. Earlier this week there was a couple of days that the fishing had really slowed up. But now it has really picked up again, and I’ve seen some very nice larger fish being landed.
Something even more note worthy…….. I am definitely seeing quite a few shad coming through the dam right now, something we haven’t seen in a while. Fishing when the shad kill is going on is a whole new and better ballgame. There is nothing quite like it.

With water running typical nymphs rigs work the best.
Scuds: possum brown or gray- smaller sizes are a must
