Fishing Report

The Dam sure has not run much at all. Sunday am they ran for a little but that was it. Even with all the rain we had early this morning, they didn’t turn on any generators.

We’ve had trips out everyday this last week. Fishing has been really good. Not any huge fish by any means, but lots of them.

Our “hottest fly” pattern has been the tungsten beaded midge. It’s a fly that originated at our shop several years ago.
Next on the menu the zebra midges in copper and brown or black.
San Juan worms in peach and scud patterns in brown or sowbug.

White bass have started running and we’ve heard several reports of large numbers being caught, on Fly rods and spinning rods.

Crappie are starting to do well also.

One of the locals landed a really nice 7 lb large mouth this week on Table Rock Lake, using the new X-Rap purple ghost.
