Fishing Report

2 generators are running at this time, and have been all day. They turned on 2 yesterday also around 2 pm. Friday, Sat., and Sunday the water was off during the day.

We have had several trips out the last week. A couple of really large groups fished with us Friday and Saturday. They were a wonderful group of people to work with and they did really well. I think just about everyone had on a different fly pattern and all were catching fish. They kept all of us (guides) busy!

Of course with the water running, the fly picks have been:

San Juan worms in brown or red
Small peach puffballs
Scuds: possum brown or sowbug (smaller sizes)
Micro jigs early

Water off:
Cracklebacks (this pattern has been really great the last week or so, and are really fun to fish)
olive wooly
tungsten beaded olive midge
Adam’s bug
south platte emerger in olive
