It was quite a busy holiday weekend. We had several trips out everyday. Fishing was very good! Water was off most of time, except for an occasional generator in the afternoon that only ran for a while.
Several really nice fish were landed during our trips. 20″ plus, rainbows and even a 20″ brown. Friday and Saturday on our guided trips, we fished nothing but tungsten beaded midges. They did so well we never even changed once. Sunday and Monday we fished several different patterns. Soft hackles, midges, emergers, and micro jigs. We used 6X and 7X fluorocarbon tippet, a must in the clear waters. I have to say fishing was very consistant every day.
