Finally getting time to wade the last 2 days. The water has been off from noon to 6 pm, both Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th. Prior to Saturday they had been running most of the time during daylight hours, with it being off only a couple of hours at night. Reports have been that also this week, Tues & Weds. they will be working on the baffles at powersite dam (Forsyth), and plan to decrease generation on those days, weather permitting. Hopefully this means we will be getting in more wading time.
Now that the water has been off a little, we are starting to see more browns up towards the dam. It sure has been a very unusual year.
We have either been wading or had the boat out on trips everyday and the hot patterns have still been Scuds, sizes 18 & 16 in Brown or gray, Olive woolies in size 10, pearl cracklebacks, Beaded midges, sculpins, and prisim emergers.
