Fishing Report

Time to get out and brush off the cobwebs off the waders, weather has been really great, and fishing has been really good also. Seems as if everyday lately water has been off for either part of the day, or all day. So we are definitely getting in plenty of wading time. We have hooked several fish on the last two guided trips. Flies have varied lots, really just depends on your favorite style of fishing.
When the water is off, streamers have been doing very well, stripping them right off the bottom. Sculpins have been my favorite, but woolly buggers have done well too, also don’t forget heavier tippet for them….4X.
If you like throwning cracklebacks, they are working very good too, along with drifting beaded midges, or even san juan worms.

Fly Menu has been:

rabbit sculpins- gray
Cracklebacks- pearl/grizzly
San Juan worms- red or pink
copper flash midge- sz 18
Tungsten beaded midge - in pink or red
copper rusty dun zebra - sz 18
Woolly buggers - olive

Don’t forget about the new “NO felt sole regulation” that went into effect March 1.

Heard lots of reports about the white bass have started running in some of our favorite local spots. Also some good crappie reports in the last couple of days too. And if you haven’t been out bass fishing this year, it has been a fantastic year for huge numbers and sizes. Stop by and I’ll show you pictures, and tell you where to go to be successful.

We also have the HOT Alabama rigs in too. They are made locally and are far better quality.
