Fishing Report

If you have a chance hope you can check out the website for St. Croix Rods. We are featured on it with the extremely great Bank Robber Rod by St. Croix. This Rod has truly become one of my top favorites. It delivers everything it promises and then some. Stop by and check it out.

Today is probably the coldest day we have had so far this season, glad it isn’t going to last. Our record highs have kept quite a few people fishing. This time of year is great, you can find yourself fishing without the crowds, providing absolutely no pressure. Which translates that you can use several different patterns, and fish several different ways.

If you choose to dry fly fish, top picks are griffiths gnats, big ugly, and adam’s midge.

Stripping: Cracklebacks or softhackles

Streamers: large Rabbit sculpins, or woolybuggers(black or olive, weighted)

Indicator fishing: Scuds- gray or tan
rusty dun or flash zebra
adams bug
WD-40’s- black or gray
Or for a limited time while supplies last, we have some of Adam’s Ice shrimp in stock that he tied.

We have gift certificates available for christmas. For guide trips or store merchandise
